Returns
Full refunds may be granted on returned merchandise up to 10 days from the date of purchase. Refunds are only granted on unopened, unused products. Your original Morey’s Music Store, Inc. sales receipt is required for a full refund. Instruments must be in the same condition as purchased. Partial refunds may be provided for opened products returned no later than 10 days from the date of purchase. Returned opened products are subject to a restocking fee. Moneys will be reimbursed by means of original payment method. If purchase was made by credit card, the credit card must be present at time of return along with the original receipt. Special order purchases are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Due to copyright laws, sheet music and opened DVDs, CDs and software are not exchangeable or returnable. Morey’s Music Store, Inc. reserves the right to deny granting any refund.
Warranty
We offer a lifetime in-house warranty on the structural integrity of our fine string instruments including violins, violas, cellos and string basses. This warranty covers normal wear and tear; accidental damage is not covered. Movable parts such as strings, pegs, bridges, tailpieces, and chin rests are not included in the warranty. We offer a one-year in-house warranty on all new Band Instruments. We offer a six-month in-house warranty on all used band instruments.
Value Guarantee
Fine String Instruments: We guarantee an 80% exchange value at Morey’s Music Store, Inc. on fine string instruments (violin, viola, cello, and upright string bass) under $1,500.00 and 100% on instruments $1,500.00 and above. Exchange values apply for the same type of instrument. The 100% exchange value applies to instruments that are a minimum of 20% more than the instrument to be exchanged. The value guarantee is a one for one exchange only. Value guarantee instruments need to be in similar condition as purchased when using the exchange value option.
Bows for fine string instruments: We guarantee an 80% exchange value at Morey’s Music Store, Inc. on fine string instrument bows (violin, viola, cello, and upright string bass) under $1,500.00 and 100% on bows $1,500.00 and above. We will deduct the cost of a re-hair from the value guarantee, as well as any other cost associated with returning the bow to its original condition. These additional cost may include replacing a broken tip, worn thumb-grip and/or damaged wrap as needed. The 100% exchange value applies to bows that are a minimum of 20% more than the bow to be exchanged. The value guarantee is a one for one exchange only. Value guarantee bows need to be in similar condition as purchased when using the exchange option.
