Muramatsu Flute Services
Our flute technician Scott Dagg is a Muramatsu Authorized Repair Technician. What does this mean? Muramatsu makes the best selling high-end, professional flutes in the world. Their flutes are made with extreme precision from the best quality materials.
Along with this attention to detail, the maker uses a proprietary flute pad specific to their instruments. These pads can only be properly installed by Muramatsu Authorized technicians.
Scott completed the training for this authorization in December 2019 through intense one-on-one apprenticeship. When working on a Muramatsu, no detail is forgotten; from how tight the screws are fit, the type of oil used in the keywork, and the exact height the keys open. These details make the difference between a flute that plays, and a flute that allows you to play to your full ability.
The skills and techniques acquired through his Muramatsu training transfers to all of Scott’s work, instilling a strong attention to detail to each instrument that sits on his bench.
